For most people, De Olifant little cigars can certainly be equated with the original formats such as the Petit or the Knakje. These have been with us since the 1980s and have lost none of their fascination. The innovative spirit behind the small manufactory from the Netherlands is Thomas Klaphake, the owner of the premium manufactory in our neighboring country that has been producing cigars since 1832. Incidentally, the name goes back to a cargo ship of the Dutch East India Company, which bore the name “De Witte Olifant” and was launched in 1639.
De Olifant mainly produces so-called “dry” Indonesian products in the Dutch style. Every now and then, in addition to the basic range, there are also new taste developments, such as the Brazilian series. Sometimes it is possible to acquire a particularly beautiful bale of bracts from Brazil (Bahia). These taste particularly sweet and full-bodied and are then processed for a small series in the formats Corona and Matelieff, which are soon very popular with the aficionados. With full-bodied, balanced notes of chocolate, (almost) everyone eventually becomes weak ….
We are really convinced of the De Olifant little cigars, the small and fine manufacturer in Kampen in the Netherlands produces very high quality products for lovers of tobacco products of the Dutch style. The Scheepskistje, which includes the formats Panatella, Knakje, Matelieff, Corona, and V.O.C, offers a nice overview of the De Olifant range. Here you will find all De Olifant little cigars that we have ready for you.
The De Olifant little cigars of Giant Sumatra cigarillo version unfold spicy aromas with fruity undertones thanks to a voluminous ring size of 30. The De Olifant Giant are particularly large cigarillos that are more reminiscent of cigars, both in terms of their look and taste. The aromatic cigarillos provides 30 minutes of enjoyment.
The name of the Giant Cigarillo by De Olifant little cigars suggests that this model must be of a larger format than is customary for cigarillos. Because with dimensions such as 7.7 cm in length and a 12 mm wide diameter, the Giant Cigarillo would easily pass as a small cigar.
